Okay so I would love to do one of these blog posts every month, (so maybe not every month as I don’t think THAT much will change in store within a month or online for that matter.) But I am loving Primark this month just because I love Primark every month, they pull it out the bag every time and even more so that the summer pieces are out in force! I’ve recently shopped in Primark and I must say, I’ve bought a few bits from this post. I have already started on my summer wardrobe and you can find all the new summer bits I’ve purchased from Primark in my upcoming YouTube video. (Yes I know, I’m getting back into it! Just for the hauls.) So let’s get into it..
I’m trying out the neutral smart casual vibe this year – the nudes, tan, denim, white broderie dresses etc. And Primark have completely pulled it out the bag. I’ve seen some inspiration on Instagram from bloggers which I’d love to purchase – I just couldn’t afford the price tag so I’m very happy Primark have produced very similar items to the likes of Zara – within my price range! And can I just say, I’m loving cardigans and white blouses at the moment! I’m normally a crop top, slider kinda gal in the summer but that girl has long gone and I’m feeling smart sandals and shirts this year!
Gold Initial Ring | £1
I’ve had my eyes on a sovereign/signet ring for absolute ages – love the gold tones for this year and I’m still tempted to spend out on getting one. BUT I seriously had to buy this when I saw it – I knew Primark would come through with a dupe. however I couldn’t find a ‘C’ initial ring so I settled for an ‘S’. I don’t care what its got on it, I had to have it! Ps. I did have to coat it in clear nail varnish so it wouldn’t make my finger green – it’s worked a treat!
Cream Blazer Jacket | £17
Okay I’ve just bought this and let me tell you, its amazing! amazing quality, amazing fit, the linen is such good quality and for £17 I couldn’t walk away without having it! (I did remove the buttons on the sleeve its im not a fan of this style!)
Tan Weave Mule | £6
How amazing are these? so similar to the Zara/YSL sandals! I’ve looking for this style sandals for a while and wasn’t too sure if I’d wear them much. with the £25 price tag from Zara I didn’t want to commit! but finding them in Primark for £6 they are a must! and the colour is perfect for summer!
Tortoise Shell Handle Bag | £8
I had to buy this! been looking for a tan bag for a while and found a few that caught my attention but id only really use this along with tan sliders in the summer so I didn’t want to spend loads of money on one. such good quality and for less than £10 – what’s not to love!
Chunky White Trainers | £12
im not sure if ive mentioned these before on my blog or not, but im literally obsessed with them! they are similar to the Alexandra mcQueen trainers just without the hefty 300 and something price tag. Iwore these the whole time iw as in Budapest (because I was tight and didn’t pay for luggage so I couldn’t fit a second pair in my bag!) and I have to say, these were extremely and surprisingly comfy. wearing them for 3 days straight they did get a little (a lot) dirty and as you may have read I did nearly cry because I couldn’t clean them and had just bought them. I did wash them in the washing machine and they came up sparkling! oe of the best finds in primark if I do say so myself!
High Waisted Light Blue Denim Shorts | £8
I do actually have a similar pair I bought from Primark last year but they have upped their game this year. the rips are just screaming ‘expensive’ vibes at me. I purchased these in a size 6, and they are definitely true to size!
Woven Tan Mule | £6
I’ve recently purchased these to go with the tan bag and I love is as a combo! These are so comfy, but if anyone has bought sliders from Primark you’ll know that when you over wear them they tend to stretch and don’t cling to your feet ( you then find your self clenching your toes just to keep them on!) but for £6 I think these are so worth it – that, or just don’t overwear them!
Ruffle Button Dress | £13
tis is very out of my comfort zone but as I said, im opening up to wearing more classy, girly bits this summer and that includes tea dresses! (is this even classed as a tea dress?) what a cute little number for only £13! paired with a denim jacket and some lace up mid block heeled sandals its a great piece for the summer evenings!
Snake Print Belt | £4
I’m not going to lie, I did think snake print was only going to stick around for AW 2018, but im so glad were taking it into spring! snake print never really went out of fashion lets face it – I absolutely love snake print, its black/tan/nude and white all rolled into one which is a blessing because they are my favourite colours and it goes with so many things!
White Cardigan | £13
I find this such a great transitional piece. Especially now the jumpers are going and we aren’t quite ready for the crop tops and bandeaus. not only that – when we are ready, this such a cute addition for the colder nights (What am I saying, its England!) over the top of a little cropped number a knitted midi skirt and sandals this will look stunning!
White Woven Mule | £12
I’ve been itching to try some of these mules with some light blue mom jeans and a cheeky evening top but I still don’t have the balls to do it. Im so shocked Primark have brought out something like this, really upping their game every summer! you’d expect to pay around £25-£30 in other stores and then BAM Primark pull it out the bag as per! I’ve tried these on – the material is not actually that stiff as you’d imagine. so the comfiness rating is up there at a 8.5/10!
Charm Bracelet | £2
Since when did the chavvy gold chain coin/sovereign style jewellery make a come back?! (for the record I love bit of chaviness don’t get me wrong – I always have!) I’m so glad its ‘fashionable’ now. I’m guilty of wanting to wear it for years and not having the balls! What better way to try it out for size than in Primark when it’s £2 a pop. I mean C’MON. Absolutely love it! Next we’ll be wearing rag doll necklaces *insert love heart eyes*.
Whilst I don’t know what this look’s like on, (I’m still trying to find it in store) I came across it on the website and it was really ticking all the boxes for my new summer wardrobe! I love the buttoned up style at the moment, the stone colour and I love this style of top!
White Ruffle Crop Blouse | £12
I recently tried this on and it’s such a lovely material. it’s like a chiffon but a lot thicker and more crinkly! (does this even make sense?) I tried a 6 on which was a little too big but the fit is so nice! Ties nicely in on the waist, not too low and I love the ruffles! The perfect evening piece on holiday for the colder evenings.
Blue Mom Shorts | £10
I did buy these last year and they are such a nice, true to size fit! What’s not to love? High waisted, blue denim, rolled up, MOM style? They are a staple in every summer wardrobe!
Snake Print Tote Bag | £8
this along with the snake print belt featured earlier is the perfect combo! i love a wicker straw bag just as much as the next person, but this bag is perfect for the evening, or even just shopping!
Gold Watch | £6
I’m not going to lie, I’ve had my eye on a gold mesh strap Daniel Wellington for a while now, but already having a watch that I love, I can’t bring myself to buying a new one! As more of my jewellery is becoming gold, I need a watch that goes with all this! For £6 I don’t think I could say no! Even if it stopped working after 6 months, I’d still wear it – because let’s be honest, when looking for the time do we actually use our watch or still check our phone? I’ve always had watches for show, and that won’t be changing anytime soon! Looks more expensive than £6 may I add!
Can’t wait to see what else Primark has in store over the next few months!
